NNPC WorkPlace: Interface re-design

Business Needs
This singular task is made up of business processes that are fraught with various bottle necks leading to a delay in approvals, access to vital information, access to necessary resources, access to funds; overall causing inefficiency and lethargy. The challenges experienced at the centre are further compounded by the also complex business processes that exist within the various SBUs (13 in all). It became imperative to adopt a unification strategy; one that will further promote the new NNPC Culture among the 0over 10000 staff strong organization and one that will also breed efficiency. The NNPC WorkPlace was born. Like the Four Towers at the city centre, the NNPC workplace is meant to be at the centre of operations at the NNPC headquarters. It would make it a one-stop shop for most of the activities that would take place within the organization whether physically at the HQ or at the other stations. They had a portal that was built on Sharepoint but was lacking the features they required and they were unhappy with the overall look and feel of the portal.
